The South Coast has many of the most beautiful attractions in Iceland starting with the Seljalandsfoss waterfall where you can walk the path behind the veil of water plunging from the cliff high above.  Stunning Skogafoss Waterfall with it´s beautiful shape and surroundings, The black sand beach Reynisfjara with the multitude of octagonal basalt pillars shaping the coast and the caves. Vik Small Town with the three iconic pillars of rock out at sea under the Katla Volcano lurking under Mýrdalsjökull and further out on the coast you drive through the Eldhraun lava field with the layer of thick woolly green moss covering the rugged surface of the biggest lava field in the world.

Day 3 – Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon

The mesmerising Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon offers a spectacle of massive ancient icebergs calmly floating around in the icy water with the incredible backdrop of Breiðamerkurjökull huge outlet glacier from Vatnajökull the mother of all glaciers in Iceland.  Nearby you have the diamond beach where the smaller icebergs are strewn around the black sand and finally you will stop at Skaftafell National Park and do a hike through the oasis of trees to find the Black waterfall that got named after the black octagonal pillars of basalt that surround the cascade.  The black sand beach Reynisfjara with the multitude of octagonal basalt pillars shaping the coast and the caves and finally the Skógarfoss waterfall that is the last stop of the day.
