Borgarfjordur bay – A fjord rich with history

Borgarfjörður bay where you will visit Deildatunguhver the largest hot spring in Iceland, Hraunfossar picturesque waterfalls and Reykholt a major historic site and church.

Húsafell glacier valley with Eiríksjökull glacier and Langjökull glacier towering over the area creating a micro climate and it´s beautiful lava field Hallmundarhraun.

We return by Kaldidalur valley / rugged mountain road if weather and snow conditions allow.
